Housing support
Homelessness Prevention: We offer homelessness prevention services aimed at assisting TLGBQIA+ individuals at risk of homelessness. These services include financial assistance, rental support, and case management to help individuals maintain their current housing and prevent homelessness.
Emergency Shelter: We provide emergency shelter for TLGBQIA+ individuals experiencing homelessness, offering a safe and supportive environment with access to basic necessities and resources.
Transitional Housing: Our transitional housing program offers longer-term housing solutions for individuals who are transitioning from homelessness to independent living. Developmentally appropriate houses for youth (age 18-24) and adults (age 25+) offer a supportive and structured environment where individuals can work towards self-sufficiency and long-term housing stability.
Permanent Supportive Housing: BSH offers permanent supportive housing for individuals who require ongoing support to maintain stable housing. This program combines affordable housing with wraparound services, such as case management, counseling, and connections to community resources.
Housing Placement Assistance: BSH assists TLGBQIA+ individuals in finding and securing safe and affordable housing options in the community. We provide support with the housing application process, and landlord negotiations, and provide rental assistance.
Housing Stability Support: BSH offers ongoing support to individuals who have secured stable housing, helping them maintain their housing stability through case management, financial assistance, and linkages to supportive services.
